KPMG Israel is looking for a passionate and experienced Hands-On Tech Lead to join our Technology Consulting department and lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge Generative AI solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology leadership and hands-on development, and who is excited to shape the future of AI-driven innovation for top-tier clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design, architecture, and implementation of Generative AI solutions (e.g., LLMs, multimodal models, RAG pipelines, fine-tuning, prompt engineering).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers, consultants, and business stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in GenAI and translate them into practical, scalable solutions.
• Guide and mentor junior developers and AI engineers.
• Work closely with clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Ensure high-quality delivery, performance, and security of AI applications.
  
  

• 4+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in AI/ML-related roles.
• Proven hands-on experience with Generative AI frameworks and tools (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector databases).
• Strong programming skills in Python (including libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP) and deploying AI models in production.
• Solid understanding of ML lifecycle, MLOps, and data pipelines.
• Experience working in or with professional services / consulting firms – an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
  

• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), fine-tuning LLMs, or building custom copilots.
• Familiarity with enterprise use cases in finance, healthcare, or public sector.
