Director Low Level

Description

Paragon is a leading and rapidly growing cyber intelligence company based in Tel Aviv. We're looking for an experienced and visionary Director Low Level to lead and scale our security research organization - a multi-team group driving innovation in Low-Level research & development, reverse engineering, vulnerability exploitation, and mobile security.

In this role, you will define and execute the strategic vision for our Low-Level research & development organization. You will manage multiple team leads, guide the direction of research initiatives, and ensure that our teams operate at the forefront of security innovation. Your leadership will be essential in developing the next generation of security capabilities that power Paragon’s products.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and grow a multi-team security research organization, including direct management of team leads.
• Set a clear strategic direction for security research, ensuring alignment with company-wide goals.
• Cultivate a strong culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Provide guidance and support to teams working on complex challenges in mobile/OS internals, reverse engineering and vulnerability exploitation.
• Stay ahead of emerging security technologies, threats, and defenses, and translate them into impactful research directions assuring high OPSEC standards.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, infrastructure, and product leadership to drive research & development impact.
  
  

• Proven experience leading multiple Low-Level teams or managing managers in a research or R&D environment.
• Passion for building effective teams and structures, pushes boundaries and leads bold, impact-driven decisions.
• Strong accountability, broad perspective, and a proactive mindset; leads processes and takes initiative beyond scope.
• Deep expertise in Low-Level development, OS internals, vulnerability research, and mobile/OS security.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to scale and structure teams effectively.
• Solid understanding of Unix-like operating systems and mobile platforms (Android/iOS).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical vision into execution.
