Senior Security Researcher

We’re looking for a technically curious and impact-driven Senior Security Researcher to help drive Sola’s research at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity. In this role, you’ll play a key part in advancing our AI capabilities—working closely with engineering, product, and other teams to ensure our research is both innovative and aligned with real-world threats and needs.

This is a hands-on role that blends deep technical exploration with practical application. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how AI is used to tackle some of cybersecurity’s hardest challenges and contribute directly to the development of novel, high-impact solutions.

• Drive the research and development of cutting-edge AI capabilities specifically designed for cybersecurity applications.
• Perform in-depth competitive analysis to identify inefficiencies, blind spots, and areas where Sola can deliver differentiated value through AI innovation.
• Connect platform-level insights with ongoing research to help shape both product direction and research priorities.
• Stay on top of advancements in both LLM-based and classical AI/ML methods — including techniques like RAG, fine-tuning, evaluation/benchmarking, and agent frameworks.
• Design and build prototypes and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to validate impactful ideas, and collaborate with R&D to transition successful concepts into production.
• Work closely with Product teams to influence prioritization, guide the roadmap, and identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing to transform research outcomes into thought leadership, content, and strategic messaging.
