We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager, Threat Detection to join the Threat Prevention group at the intersection of product, security, and execution.

In this pivotal role, you will drive the integration of cybersecurity solutions across a diverse portfolio of products.

You’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and executives to identify security gaps, propose strategic placements for security capabilities, and lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to launch.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that shapes the future of our cybersecurity offerings and ensures our solutions remain ahead of evolving threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Market Intelligence: Build a comprehensive, data-driven understanding of real-world cybersecurity needs and trends by working with Research, R&D, and competitive intelligence teams.
• Security Gap Analysis & Strategic Placement: Conduct analysis of Check Point product portfolios and existing solutions to bring clarity and order to cybersecurity gaps.
• Propose and drive strategic placement of security capabilities across products to ensure optimal protection, scalability, and minimal user friction.
• Cross-product Program Leadership: Lead initiatives that unify security capabilities across multiple products, ensuring consistency, scalability, and strategic alignment. Own the end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional cybersecurity programs — from ideation and planning to execution and post-launch optimization.
• Strategic Prioritization: Contribute to the prioritization of cybersecurity initiatives by supporting recommendations with data from internal systems, customer feedback, and field analysis.
• Requirements Definition & Technical Design Oversight : Write clear, actionable requirements for cross-team initiatives that reflect both technical and business priorities.
• Ensure the design of robust, scalable, and holistic cybersecurity solutions; challenge technical designs to ensure alignment with security and product goals.
• Cybersecurity Work Plan Development: Create a cross-functional cybersecurity work plan that aligns between cybersecurity needs and prioritization and products roadmaps.
• Culture & Collaboration: Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Cybersecurity Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with a strong understanding of security principles, technologies, and best practices.
• Product management experience in the cybersecurity domain is a strong advantage.
• Development Background: Development or managerial experience in security engines or similarly complex software systems. Must understand the technical challenges of building secure, scalable solutions.
• Experience in developing across multiple product lines or platforms, creating holistic and cross-functional solutions is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams effectively.
• Experience in fast-paced environments with overlapping projects/deliverables
• Highly organized & obsessive over the details while also focusing on what comes next
• Computer Science or Engineering degree and/or equivalent work experience
