Responsibilities

This role involves managing development projects for B2B services such as Raksul Enterprise, while promoting collaboration with overseas development teams (e.g., in Vietnam and India).

Although the formal role title is Project Manager, we are looking for someone who can operate with the perspective of an Engineering Manager, someone who can drive projects forward from both technical and team leadership standpoints.

Rather than simply managing progress, you will proactively support the team based on their real situations and needs, working together to achieve project goals.

Strengthen Collaboration with Overseas Development Teams (Vietnam, India, etc.)

• Conduct regular meetings in English to check progress and address issues
• Support decision-making with an understanding of the technical background
• Build trust with local members through regular overseas business trips
  
  

Project Execution and Completion

• Manage the entire development lifecycle: requirements definition, design, implementation, testing, and release
• Collaborate with Product Managers (PdM) to clarify business requirements and prioritize features
• Use tools like ClickUp, Notion, and GitHub for task and progress management
• Visualize and improve team performance using metrics such as velocity and utilization rates
• Plan and execute test strategies, working closely with QA teams to ensure quality
• Proactively detect risks and take action before issues become visible
• Leverage AI tools to automate reporting, visualize project status, and improve progress tracking efficiency
  
  

Reporting and Visibility to Business and Management Teams

• Report project status using a combination of velocity tracking, deliverable visualization, and qualitative updates
• Prepare reports that balance the presentation of both output quality and progress visibility
  
  

Building Trust and Continuous Support

• Provide flexible support tailored to the team's situation
• Respond promptly to issues or changes, fostering an environment where the team can perform with confidence

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of practical experience in web application development
• Hands-on experience as a Project Manager or Engineering Manager
• Ability to work fluently in both Japanese and English
• Experience leading projects in collaboration with overseas development teams (Vietnam, India, etc.)
• Practical experience with development support tools such as GitHub, ClickUp, Notion, Jira

• Experience in visualizing team velocity and driving continuous improvement
• Technical background sufficient to participate in code reviews and design discussions
• Management experience with multicultural, distributed teams
• Knowledge of leveraging AI to automate and streamline project management tasks
