What You’ll Do

As a Lead AI Engineer on the OpenText ValueEdge team, you'll take an active role in designing, building, and optimizing advanced backend services and AI-powered features for enterprise software solutions. You will be instrumental in the development and integration of robust APIs, scalable services, and production-ready machine learning models—including Large Language Models (LLMs)—to empower organizations to achieve intelligent automation and actionable insights.

What you need to succeed

Technical Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 5+ years of experience as a server-side/backend engineer
• 2+ years of experience with Python/Django framework
• 2+ years of experience with Java and Spring for backend development
• 1+ years of experience and strong interest in ML and LLMs
• Solid understanding of building, testing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and scalable backend services
• Experience with SQL databases and backend data management concepts
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and automated testing frameworks
