Embedded BSP SW Engineer

The Aviation Group at IAI is seeking an Embedded BSP Software Engineer to join its Aircraft Conversion and Upgrade Center.

The position includes:

• Developing and maintaining Board Support Packages (BSP) for various systems

• Solving infrastructure, integration, and real-time operating system (RTOS) support issues

• Supporting BSP development for diverse embedded hardware platforms

• Integrating the VxWorks operating system with custom hardware

• Debugging and supporting low-level OS and hardware layers

• Optimizing system performance to meet real-time requirements

• Developing drivers and integrating various hardware peripherals

• Collaborating with hardware, software, and customer teams for integration and improvement

• Managing multi-core systems with shared memory environments

• Meeting project milestones and quality targets

• Working according to engineering and project management procedures

What we’re looking for:

• BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science

• 10 years of experience in Embedded software development for Real-Time systems

• Experience with VxWorks – mandatory

• Proven BSP development for embedded platforms such as SBC, Nvidia, Intel – mandatory

• Experience working with peripherals and multi-core systems – mandatory

• Deep familiarity with drivers such as 1553, Arinc 429, Ethernet TCP/IP, PCIe, SATA – mandatory

• Experience with VxWorks 653 – an advantage

• Experience with communication protocols, operating systems, and tools such as Code Composer, MSVC, TI NDK – an advantage

• Ability to work in environments with stringent real-time, reliability, and stability requirements
