Head of Non-Metal Materials Division

We are looking for a Head of the Non-Metal Materials Division to lead composite and ceramic materials development and engineering at the Engineering & Development Center of IAI’s Aviation Group.

The position includes:

• Serving as a professional authority in development, design, standardization, and manufacturing

engineering of composite and ceramic materials across the entire organization

• Managing a team of over 20 engineers in materials, chemistry, and mechanical disciplines

focusing on design, development, and manufacturing engineering of non-metal materials

• Leading and managing IAI’s central non-metal materials laboratory

What we’re looking for:

• Israeli citizenship – required

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or

Mechanical Engineering

• At least 10 years of scientific and engineering experience in development, design, production,

and standardization of composite materials, with emphasis on aerospace applications

• At least 10 years of experience managing engineers in materials/chemistry/mechanical fields

related to composites design, development, and production

• At least 10 years of experience in theoretical and experimental methods for material

characterization, including laboratory work

• At least 3 years of experience managing in a multi-project, multi-customer environment

• At least 3 years of experience in project and budget planning and control

Advantages:

• PhD with specialization in composite materials development and characterization
