Avionics System Engineer

We're looking for a Avionics System Engineer – Communication Systems to join our multidisciplinary development team.

The position includes:

• Leading system engineering activities for the development of airborne mission and communication computers for combat platforms, enhancing operational capabilities for the Israeli Air Force and international customers
• Defining, characterize, and write hardware, software, and infrastructure requirements and specifications
• Preparing system design reviews (PDR, CDR)
• Performing system integration and testing in labs and on aircraft
• Writing and execute system acceptance test plans (in lab and on aircraft)
• Defining flight test requirements and analyze test results
• Providing technical support throughout the entire project lifecycle: development, testing, integration, serial production, and customer support
• Ensuring adherence to project timelines, milestones, and quality goals
• Collaborating with external stakeholders including customers, subcontractors, and partners

What We’re Looking For:

• B.Sc. in Aerospace, Computer, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering – required
• M.Sc. in Systems Engineering – advantage
• Experience or strong familiarity with airborne C4ISR, radio, or data communication systems – required
• Strong technical English – reading, writing, and speaking – required
• Experience or familiarity with military avionics systems, interfaces, and standards – strong advantage
• Background in designing and implementing full development and integration lifecycles for multidisciplinary or avionic systems – advantage
• Former service in the Israeli Air Force in avionics systems engineering, flight testing, or technical-operational roles – advantage
• Knowledge of RF, digital signal processing, waveforms, tactical communication systems – advantage
