Director of Quality Assurance

A leading company in the aerospace sector is looking for a Director of Quality Assurance.

Take part in shaping the quality strategy across civil and military aviation programs. Reporting directly to the VP of Quality, you'll lead a team of quality engineers and oversee professional assurance processes, with a strong focus on composite materials and complex assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive cross-site quality processes such as MRB, CAPA, and failure analysis to ensure product compliance with customer requirements.
• Work closely with operations, engineering, and procurement teams on a daily basis.
• Develop and implement quality plans, procedures, and specifications tailored to internal and external customer expectations.
• Lead quality reviews and forums, manage QMS documentation, and monitor supplier quality – including FAI and design verification.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits to ensure alignment with aerospace industry standards and customer needs.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical / Aeronautical / Materials Engineering.
• M.A. in Quality Management – a plus.
• Proven experience in managing professional teams.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality or manufacturing engineering roles.
• Familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP, and FOD (AS9146) – an advantage.
• Experience collaborating with customers and stakeholders locally and internationally – an advantage.
• Excellent command of English – written and spoken.
