Field Service Operator – Hydrogen Electrolyser & Power Systems Support

In this role, you will be instrumental in the installation, commissioning, and support of cutting-edge hydrogen electrolysers and power systems. What You Will Do:
As a Field Service Operator, you will be a crucial part of our field operations team, providing support to clients and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the electrical and mechanical installation of hydrogen electrolyser systems and their power supply units.
• Supporting site engineers with tasks such as cable pulling, conduit installation, and the bolting and alignment of components.
• Safely handling, rigging, and positioning heavy equipment under supervision.
• Participating in the energization process of equipment and conducting daily checks.
• Aiding in basic troubleshooting and repairs during and after equipment setup.
• Performing routine preventative maintenance, including filter changes and coolant top-ups.
• Upholding the highest standards of safety by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Collaborating with the team during load testing, commissioning, and fault-finding operations. Maintaining clear and consistent communication with site leadership regarding progress and any technical issues.
  

Who You Are:
We are looking for a dedicated and physically capable team player with a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A practical engineer diploma or a vocational certificate, preferably in a technical, electrical, or mechanical field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in industrial fieldwork, with a background in power systems or renewable energy being a significant advantage.
• A fundamental understanding of
• DC/AC electrical systems and safety protocols.
• The ability to use basic hand tools and electrical testing devices.
• Excellent physical stamina, with the ability to work outdoors for extended periods.
• A strong commitment to safety, with experience in high-risk industrial settings.
• Basic written and spoken communication skills in Hebrew and/or English.
• A willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends, to meet project deadlines.
  

Preferred, But Not Essential:

• Familiarity with hydrogen technology or industrial gas equipment.
• Certifications in basic electrical safety or confined space work.
• A license to operate a forklift, crane, or elevated work platform.
  

Working Conditions:
This is a site-based position in Kyriat Gat where you will be working both indoors and outdoors on an active industrial site. The role requires strict adherence to safety standards, including the constant use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as work may be performed in areas with high voltage, confined spaces, and heavy equipment.
