Quality Assurance Manager

Position Summary 

We are seeking an experienced QA Manager who will own the end‑to‑end quality strategy for our mobile products. You will build and lead a high‑performing QA team, establish best‑in‑class testing practices, and personally dive into testing alongside engineers to ensure every release delights our users. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead the QA function: define strategy, processes, metrics, and tooling for manual and automated testing across. 
• Manage and mentor a distributed team of QA engineers; foster a culture of continuous improvement and ownership. 
• Hands‑on testing: roll up your sleeves to execute test cases, exploratory testing, and regression cycles with the team. 
• Stakeholder demos: prepare and deliver clear, engaging demos of release candidates, showcasing product quality and readiness. 
• Cross‑functional collaboration: work closely with Product, Engineering, and Support to define acceptance criteria, reproduce issues, and drive resolution. 

Required Qualifications 

• 5+ years of professional QA experience with 2+ years in a leadership or management role. 
• Understanding of the Android OS. 
• Proven expertise in mobile application testing (both manual and automated) on Android platforms. 
• Exceptional English communication skills—spoken and written. 
• Demonstrated ability to demo high‑quality work to executives. 
• Willingness and availability to work flexible hours to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple time zones and support global releases and live issues. 
• Hands‑on mindset: comfortable jumping into testing alongside the team. 

Nice‑to‑Have 

• Experience with privacy‑focused products. 
• Scripting and automation skills. 
• Familiarity with mobile testing tools and performance testing tools. 
• Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and mobile release pipelines.
