Siema Tech is Hiring: Storage & Backup Administrator

Siema Tech is recruiting a Storage & Backup Administrator for a long-term position at the Israel Electric Corporation site in northern Israel (Haifa).

This is a diverse and exciting role with responsibility for core IT infrastructure in a highly technological environment.

🔧 What will you do?

• Install, upgrade, and maintain enterprise storage systems, file servers, and backup systems
• Provide customer support, improve performance, ensure stable operations, and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues

👤 Who are we looking for?

✅ Academic degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a certified Practical Engineer in Computer/Technology track

✅ At least 1 year of experience in a relevant infrastructure/IT role

✅ Familiarity with one or more of the following technologies:

• NetApp NAS (CDOT)
• Dell/EMC SAN
• EMC PowerMax
• Commvault

✅ Proficiency in writing scripts (Bash / Perl)

✅ General knowledge of Windows / Linux / VMware / SAP / Cybersecurity

🚨 Additional requirements:

• Willingness to work outside regular hours if needed
• High level of English (spoken and written)
• Valid driver’s license – required (company car provided 🚗)
