Who You Are

• A 5+ year web engineer who thrives on building user-facing products from scratch and tackling tough engineering challenges.
• Experienced in shaping web UI architecture that scales (FE+BE) and in leading technical direction for a small team.
• Able to take a product idea or workflow and independently turn it into a polished, functioning experience while mentoring others to do the same.
• Confident and excited to refactor and delete code.
• Comfortable running code reviews, setting engineering standards, and coordinating across product, design, and infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Be among our first 20 employees, helping shape both the product and the team foundations of a fast-growing startup.
• Define and evolve our web architecture, design system, and engineering best practices.
• Own features end-to-end: from initial concept and UX discussion to implementation, polish, deployment, and observability.
• Tackle complex, large-scale challenges in event-driven architectures and real-time data processing.
• Continuously improve developer workflows: evaluate gaps, introduce and integrate new tools, automate repetitive steps, and champion best practices that boost velocity and quality.
• Lead and mentor a small group of engineers: drive planning, break down work, ensure delivery quality, and help hire the next wave of talent.
• Collaborate with top-tier engineers, PMs and designers who’ve built large-scale systems at top companies.
