Research And Development Manager

A startup developing revolutionary medical devices worldwide. The company designs portable, foldable professional pressure chambers that can be operated remotely.

The role involves direct management of a multidisciplinary team of 15 engineers (software, hardware, and mechanics) and hands-on leadership in complex medical device development.

Responsibilities include active participation in product design, development, testing, and integration throughout its lifecycle; engineering project planning and management; conducting tests and validation; and preparing regulatory submissions to international approval bodies.

The office is located in Sderot, right on the train line, with a hybrid work model allowing one to two days from home.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a leading university – Mandatory
• 10 years of experience in product development management –
• Mandatory
• 3 years of hands-on experience in medical device development –
• Mandatory
• Proven track record of bringing regulated medical products to market- Mandatory
• Strong understanding of ISO 13485 and related quality standards – Mandatory
• Deep experience in designing and developing pressure systems/components –
• Mandatory
• Practical experience transitioning products from development to manufacturing –
• Mandatory
• Proficiency in Agile project management methodologies – Mandatory
