Delivery Engineer

We’re looking for a Delivery Engineer who will take full ownership of deploying production changes and managing complex deployments across our customer environments.

You’ll be the critical link between R&D, Product, Support, and Field teams, ensuring that every release, hotfix, and configuration change lands safely in production.

From receiving deployment packages from R&D, through UAT testing, internal coordination, customer-facing communication, all the way to successful production rollout and post-deployment validation - you'll own the entire process end-to-end.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Own and execute production deployments: software versions, hotfixes, configuration changes, certificates, OS-level updates, and more.
• Understand the full deployment picture: hardware components, software services, dependencies, and infrastructure impact.
• Run pre-production UAT deployments and sanity checks: ensuring readiness before every production push.
• Perform risk and impact assessments for every change, while coordinating deployment windows and timelines.
• Be the internal and external deployment coordinator: keeping Product, R&D, Support, Field teams - and our customers - in the loop at every stage.
• Lead internal and customer-facing deployment communications, from scheduling to post-deployment status updates.
• Track, document, and report on every deployment: keeping accurate records, updating runbooks, and maintaining installation procedures.
• Facilitate deployment retrospectives after major releases or incidents - driving continuous improvement in how we deliver.
• Be the go-to person for deployment questions or escalations, acting as the operational owner for delivery execution.
  
  

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in mission critical environments, software deployment, production change management, technical delivery, or technical operations roles.
• Strong experience with Linux environments, Kubernetes, network components (routers, firewalls), and databases.
• A solid understanding of end-to-end deployment workflows: from UAT to production rollout and post-deployment testing.
• Excellent organizational skills, with sharp attention to detail and process adherence.
• Proven cross-team communication skills, especially during time-sensitive production events.
• Scripting ability (Bash, Python) for automating routine deployment tasks.
  
  

• Experience with hardware deployment enablement and working closely with Field Engineering teams.
