🧭 Your Responsibilities

Risk Analysis & Prevention

• Spot and assess potential risks related to cargo carriage over sea
• Design and roll out procedures to prevent incidents and legal exposure
• Build and lead training programs focused on cargo handling best practices

Claims Management

• Investigate moderate-scale loss incidents to minimize company liability
• Prepare for legal proceedings with thorough documentation and analysis
• Liaise with global stakeholders (agents, managers, lawyers, investigators)
• Manage negotiations with claimants and external parties
• Lead recovery actions from liable third parties
• Consolidate data into actionable reports for management

Requirements:

• Academic education: LL.B– a must
• Experience and ability to write in a legal manner – a must
• Experience in law of torts – a must
• Experience in insurance- an advantage
• High level of English language (Speaking, reading and writing)
• Negotiation skills - an advantage
• IT oriented – an advantage
