Technical Support Engineer

A global high-tech company specializing in real-time location tracking in the healthcare industry including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and more.

The company provides advanced monitoring of assets, including temperature tracking, enabling clients to gain valuable insights related to patient care, medication storage, and overall operational efficiency.

About the Role:

• Join the support team and provide technical support to end customers.
• Work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Operate in both Windows and Linux-based environments.
• Standard working hours are Sunday to Thursday, 9:00–18:00. One early shift per week from 6:00–15:00.
• Friday shift is remote, until 17:00.
• On-call weekend duty once a month (Saturday and Sunday from 7:00–16:00, remote), followed by a Friday off.
• Hybrid work is possible.

Requirements-

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification/experience in Computer Science, Network Communications, or related technical field
• 5 years in technical support or customer-facing roles in fast-paced environments
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with logical thinking
• Excellent English communication skills, both technical and empathetic, able to handle complex instructions by phone
• Advanced experience with Microsoft and Linux servers, virtual environments, load balancers, certificates, VPNs
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Experience with Microsoft SQL: query creation, maintenance understanding
• Enterprise-level wired and wireless network knowledge
• Proficient in capturing and analyzing network traces using Wireshark or similar tools
• Knowledge of cloud-based network solutions (e.g., Airwave, Cisco DNA Center), with the ability to discuss wireless environments with customer IT teams
