A startup in the Generative AI space is developing an AI assistant for the developer community. The company is building an advanced deep learning and big data-based system that learns and understands code the way humans do, enabling faster and more efficient software development.

The company is headquartered in Tel Aviv, near a train station, operates in a hybrid model with two remote workdays per week, and currently employs 60 people. It has raised a total of $32 million, including a recent $25 million funding round.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on, one-person DevOps position. While some infrastructure already exists initially developed and maintained by the development team the company has decided to bring in a dedicated professional to take ownership of the DevOps domain. The role reports directly to the VP of R&D.

Responsibilities:

• Own and lead all DevOps initiatives in the company
• Work closely with development teams to optimize infrastructure and deployment pipelines
• Improve and professionalize existing infrastructure and processes
• Build, maintain, and monitor CI/CD pipelines
• Manage and scale production environments using Kubernetes and AWS
• Lead infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Ensure system reliability, security, and scalability
• Introduce best practices and drive automation across development and operations
• Tech Stack: Kubernetes, Linux, AWS, Microservices, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, Terraform

Requirements:

• 6 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
• 3 years of experience in backend development (preferably with Node.js)
• Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably GCP and AWS), experience analysing and optimizing FinOps
• Extensive experience in Kubernetes administration and operations
• Experience with building CI/CD pipelines for applications and microservices
• Strong understanding of CI/CD best practices and experience with tools such as: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, etc.
