Back End Developer

A startup in the Digital Accessibility domain, developing a groundbreaking AI & ML-based technology that enables development teams to embed accessibility into web and mobile applications from the earliest stages of development. Based in Tel Aviv near a train station, the company operates in a hybrid model with two remote workdays per week and employs 100 people.

Currently preparing for a Series C round, the company remains stable and unaffected by market fluctuations, with a strong customer base, growing sales, and high employment stability.

About the Role:

• Backend development as part of a team of 5 developers, reporting to a Team Lead
• Involves building high-scale core infrastructure serving all company products
• Includes both greenfield development and optimization of existing systems
• Dynamic tasks and close collaboration with research and cross-functional teams
• Tech Stack: GCP, Kubernetes, SQL, NoSQL, Elasticsearch, BigQuery, TypeScript, Kotlin, Python, Go

Requirements-

• 5+ years of experience in Backend development – required
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Java, Node.js, Python, Go, or Kotlin – required (the actual development will primarily be in Go)
• Experience working with Cloud environments (preference for GCP) – required
• Experience with CI/CD tools and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) – required
• B.Sc. in a technological field – required (preference for university graduates)
• Background in startup companies – required
