Title:

• Process and NPI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA):
• Evaluating product designs to ensure they are feasible for efficient and cost-effective manufacturing and assembly.
• DFMA review for HW, Mechanical, Process, and Testing aspects of existing and new products.
• Lead ECM engineering activities.
• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
• Identifying and resolving technical issues that arise during product development and production.
• Responsible for the Sustaining Process and NPI aspects of the company’s Products and Manufacturing
• Engineering lead of all NPI aspects of new products, from concept phase to product release to mass production.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and process documentation.
• Project and Manufacturing Documentation definition based on R&D, QA, and Management Guidelines.
• Providing technical support to production teams during the transition to mass production and throughout the product lifecycle.
• Responsible for sustaining engineering processes and providing engineering support across the company and subcontractors.
• Defining and validating manufacturing processes, including creating work instructions, process flow diagrams, and control plans
• Cost Reduction and Continuous Improvement:
• Identifying opportunities to reduce product costs and improve manufacturing processes.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensuring that the product meets the required quality standards through various means, including First Article Inspection (FAI) reports.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience of a minimum 3 years in the same position.
• Proven proficiency in SolidWorks
• Proven experience with transferring products from development to production, including Documentation and BOM's definitions, DFMA/DFT.
• Proven experience in Process Engineering and NPI Leadership in multidisciplinary companies - Medical Device is an advantage.
• Proven experience in NPI Cross company activities (Operations, QA, Product Management, R&D, Marketing)
• Leading Engineering processes, subcontractors' engineering management,t and support.
• Collaborate with external vendors in the various fields of Electronics and Mechanical design, Manufacturing lines, and Process establishment.
• Project management experience and Problem-Solving capabilities.
• Experience with ERP, QMS - in advantage.
• Yield analysis and KPI’s definition and improvement - in advantage.
• Data Analysis capabilities and experience - in advantage.
