Assistant Controller

We're looking for an Assistant Controller to join the finance team of a global fintech company, in a young, dynamic, and fun work environment. The role includes full ownership of financial reporting and control in a fast-growing, multinational organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of financial reporting and accounting for local and international subsidiaries
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Conducting in-depth financial analysis, budgeting vs. actual performance tracking, and cashflow monitoring
• Ongoing analysis of revenue mix, product profitability, financing costs, and credit risk
• Development of BI reports and performance dashboards for senior management
• Create presentations for the board of directors, investors, and regulators (e.g., Capital Market Authority, Securities Authority)
• Day-to-day collaboration with accounting teams and cross-functional departments
• Monitoring capital market trends and assessing their impact on the company's financial operations

Requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Mandatory
• 2–4 years of experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller
• Previous experience at a Big 4 firm – Advantage
• Strong proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Priority preferred)
• Relevant experience in a financial institution – Advantage
• Experience with Power BI / SQL / Power Query – Strong advantage
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and work independently
• High level of English – Advantage
