About the PositionThe Director of Product Marketing will be responsible for crafting Pic-Time’s product story and turning it into measurable user growth, deeper product engagement, and more effective go-to-market execution.
This role will own the full PMM lifecycle—from messaging to launch strategy to lifecycle optimization. As part of the marketing leadership team, you'll collaborate with Product, Growth, Design, and Support to shape user experiences, tell compelling feature stories, and scale adoption across multiple customer segments.
We’re looking for a strategic operator who thrives in the B2SMB SaaS space. You should have the ability to analyze, define positioning, structure GTM plans, own conversion and upgrade flows, and bring products to market in a way that drives both clarity and revenue.
ResponsibilitiesYou will lead and execute initiatives across six PMM pillars:
1. Messaging & Positioning
- Create and maintain Pic-Time’s core messaging architecture (UVP, USP, personas, differentiation)
- Align brand and product language across landing pages, onboarding, lifecycle comms, and sales materials
2. Lifecycle & Conversion Optimization
- Responsible for mapping end-to-end user journeys and improving lifecycle messaging (email + in-app)
- Identify and execute initiatives that improve sign-up-to-upgrade flow and reduce drop-off
3. Product Education & Feature Adoption
- Build and maintain product education programs in collaboration with CS and product teams (tooltips, tutorials, guides, videos)
- Partner with CS/Product to track usage, reinforce feature value, and reduce churn
4. Product Launches & GTM
- Own Marketing Calendar & GTM for every significant release, ensuring tight coordination with all internal stakeholders
- Create scalable, tiered product launch playbooks
5. Website Ownership & CRO
- Lead experimentation across homepage, pricing, and feature pages
- Drive website UX improvements and session-to-signup conversion rates
6. Community-Led Growth & Sentiment
- Support product storytelling within our active FB user group
- Surface UGC, testimonials, and qualitative insights for use in product and brand messaging
7. Data Infrastructure & Analytics
- Build marketing data dashboards to evaluate conversion, feature usage, and content performance
- Tie PMM activities directly to business KPIs (ARR, retention, usage)
- 5 + years of experience in B2SMB SaaS product marketing, ideally within a design-forward or creator-focused platform
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing product launches, onboarding processes, lifecycle programs, and go-to-market processes
- 2+ years of management experience, leading at least 3 direct reports and multiple cross-functional initiatives
- 2+ years of experience in churn prevention, retention strategies and tactics and user packages upgrades (revenue expansion)
- Proven success in crafting positioning and messaging frameworks adopted across an organization
- Strong track record of improving free-to-paid upgrade flows and in-app conversions
- Proven experience in localization and growing new foreign markets
- Experience owning product education strategy and building tutorial/guide content
- Deep understanding of email automation, in-app messaging, and website CRO principles
- Data-literate with strong experience in GA4, Databricks, or similar tools
- Excellent communication skills, especially in translating complex product features into clear user value
