Senior Sql Database Administrator

For a successful High Tech Company,

we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MS SQL DBA 

• Manage, configure and maintain MS SQL databases.
• Implement database projects, including migrations, upgrades, and new deployments.
• Establish and uphold database standards and best practices for backup, recovery, and and disaster recovery strategies.
• Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for MS SQL Server databases, including complex query optimization and performance tuning. 
• Monitor system performance, ensuring optimal functionality, reliability, and security.
• Streamline and automate routine processes, track issues, and maintain detailed documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; Master’s degree is a plus.
• At least 3 years of experience in database administration and development, with a strong focus on MS SQL Server.
• Comprehensive expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and database architecture.
• Profound knowledge of MS SQL Server tools, including SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), T-SQL, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Experience with high-availability technologies such as Always On Availability Groups, replication, and failover clustering.
• Familiarity with cloud-based database platforms, such as AWS RDS or Amazon Aurora.
• Knowledge of additional database systems, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, is an advantage.
