Position Overview

Septier Communication Ltd. is seeking a Freelance Marketing & MarCom Manager (50%-60%) to drive our marketing communications across global defense and homeland security markets. This part-time role (20–25 hours/week) involves creating compelling marketing materials (brochures, datasheets, presentations, web content), simplifying complex technical concepts for B2G audiences, and ensuring brand consistency across digital, print, and events.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage marketing communication materials such as brochures, datasheets, presentations, white papers, website content, and videos.
• Translate technical product specifications into value-driven messages tailored for B2G defense audiences (procurement, integrators, end-users).
• Ensure consistency of brand, tone, and messaging across all marketing channels, including digital, print, trade shows, and social media.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to support lead generation, product launches, and international campaigns.
• Coordinate the company’s participation in trade shows and industry events, including booth messaging, visuals, and presentations.
• Support preparation of customer-facing content for RFIs, RFPs, and tenders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in marketing communications, preferably in defense, telecom, or secure communications industries.
• Experience developing marketing materials for global audiences, especially B2G or security sectors.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Proven ability to distill technical content for different audiences: from end users and system engineers to C-level defense stakeholders.
• Experience with AI-based tools for marketing would be an advantage, especially AI tools for presentations.
• Experience with tools such as PowerPoint, WordPress, CRM.
• Understanding technologies such as LTE/5G, secure mobile devices, VPNs, and IP-based communication is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and commercial teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
