RF Engineer Partner

We’re a cybersecurity startup on a mission to redefine and revolutionize the cyber-intelligence industry. As we build our founding team, we’re looking for an experienced RF Engineer Partner with deep expertise in mobile communications and a drive to innovate at the intersection of RF and cyber-intelligence .

As our RF Engineer Partner, you’ll lead the design and development of secure RF systems that form the physical layer of our security stack. This is not a typical engineering job, it's a founder-level opportunity to help shape a company from day one, you'll be joining two experienced and devoted partners so we're looking for someone ready to build from the ground up our products and shape the future of the venture.

This is a pre-funding, equity-only role. No salaries at this stage, so looking for someone ready to go all in with us.

Responsibilities

Architecting and implementing RF subsystems for mobile capabilities (cellular, LTE/5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.)

Designing and testing RF algorithms 

Collaborating with embedded systems, cybersecurity, and hardware teams

Helping to shape IP strategy and technical roadmaps from a founding-level perspective

Requirements:

• Experience in RF design, particularly in mobile or wireless systems (cellular, LTE, 5G, WiFi)
• Proficiency with RF simulation and design tools (e.g., CST, HFSS, ADS, MATLAB) - a must
• Strong knowledge of physical-layer vulnerabilities and how they intersect with cybersecurity
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (FCC, CE) and wireless certifications
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to wear multiple hats in an early-stage venture
• A can do approach and willing to redefine what’s possible mindset

Bonus Points For:

• Experience in SDR (Software Defined Radio) or signal intelligence (SIGINT)
• Work in government, defense, or mobile security sectors
• Prior startup, founder, or equity-based team experience
• Ex 8200, 81 or other R&D units of the IDF
