Product Manager

Ribbon IP Product management team is looking for IP Product PLM to join our team.

In your role as Product Manager, you will work across functional teams to create and execute our vision for the company’s IP product solutions, routinely collaborating with and influencing colleagues in Product Development, Engineering, Marketing and Sales.

This position offers a unique opportunity to lead the strategy, innovation and evolution of our next generation product line and related solutions.

Reports to: VP, IP Product Management manager

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Product Management of IP product line
• Lead the definition of the company’s strategy for IP Product line
• Product life cycle management - preparing and managing the life cycle of the product line from marketing requirements to End of Life, including definition of the product characteristics, generate marketing requirements (Epics), supporting R&D along the development process, define and performing all aspects of NPI (New Product Introduction), define pricing strategy, and prepare the relevant marketing material
• Work closely with R&D and Sales to achieve the product goals
• Participate in pre-sales activities: product strategy relevant RFx responses, solution presentations
• Track competitors’ analysis within the area of responsibility
  
  

• BSC in Electrical Engineering/Computer science
• MBA or equivalent a plus
• 5+ years of experience in a technical or marketing position in networking / telecommunications (System Eng. / Product management / Product Marketing)
• Deep knowledge in development of HW
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong strategic and analytical skills
• Ability to evaluate system design trade-offs as they pertain to scalability, performance, cost, functionality
• Strong presentation skills - oral and written
