Head of Security Engineering

Our Security Engineering team is at the forefront of protecting evoke’s operations, working closely with cross-functional teams to safeguard our environment across cloud, on-prem, network, endpoints, and applications. As Head of Security Engineering, you’ll lead this critical team, reporting directly to our Group CISO and playing a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s security posture.

What you will be doing:

• Lead and mentor the Security Engineering team, ensuring effective implementation of security controls.
• Oversee the development and execution of security policies, standards, and solutions across cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Strategy & ESA, GRC, Physical Security, SOC & IR, and IT/Application teams to align initiatives and respond to incidents.
• Conduct security assessments, audits, and continuous improvements based on the latest threats and trends.
• Report security metrics and initiatives to the Group CISO and other stakeholders.

Who we are looking for:

• Extensive experience leading Security Engineering teams with deep knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity across network, cloud, endpoint, and application layers.
• Holistic experience with tools such as firewalls, WAF, SIEM, DLP, EDR, and AppSec across hybrid environments.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field, with certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CEH preferred.
• A collaborative and proactive leader with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
