BI QA Engineer
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented BI QA Engineer to join our QA team. The role involves testing complex data processes, validating data integrity, and ensuring the quality of business intelligence solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of BI systems, ETL processes, and DWH components
- Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation
- Analyze and validate large data sets
- Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business analysts
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and documentation
- Detect, log, and follow up on defects
Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in BI/DWH/ETL testing – must
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases – must
- Experience working with ETL tools (preferably DataStage) – advantage
