BI Tester for a Leading Organization! 5254

We are looking for an experienced BI QA Tester to join the QA team within the BI domain of our IT division. This is a hands-on role requiring at least 3 years of software testing experience, including proven work in the Business Intelligence (BI) field. The position reports directly to the QA Team Leader and involves ongoing testing of BI developments, defect reporting, and validation of fixes.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute tests following Agile testing methodologies within a SCRUM team.
• Perform manual and automated testing for BI and ETL processes.
• Build QA controls and automation frameworks.
• Run tests and log defects using test management tools.
• Create test documentation (STP, STD, STR).
• Communicate and coordinate test results with stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with developers and data analysts.
• Report directly to the QA Team Leader.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in software QA – must.
• Experience with BI/ETL testing – strong advantage.
• Experience in designing automated QA processes and controls – advantage.
• Hands-on experience working with databases – must.
• Strong command of SQL, including writing complex queries – must.
• Experience testing DWH environments – advantage.
• Familiarity with SCRUM methodologies – advantage.
• Experience reporting activities and managing bugs using TFS/ADO – advantage.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Qlik Sense or Power BI – advantage.
• Academic degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Industrial Engineering – significant advantage.
• Experience running processes in Informatica – major advantage.
