BI QA Tester

We’re hiring a BI Software QA Tester for a leading organization in Tel Aviv!

Join the Digital, Data & Channels Division and become part of the BI QA team.

We are looking for an experienced Software QA Tester with at least 3 years of experience, including hands-on work in the BI domain.

The position reports both professionally and administratively to the QA team leader. The team is responsible for ongoing testing of BI developments, opening bugs, and validating their resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute tests based on Agile testing methodologies (working within a SCRUM team)
• Perform manual BI testing and participate in QA processes for BI/ETL developments
• Build QA automation and data validation controls
• Execute tests and log defects using testing management tools
• Write test documentation (STP/STD/STR)
• Communicate test results to stakeholders
• Work closely with developers and data analysts
• Report directly to the QA team lead

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of proven experience in software testing- mandatory
• Experience in BI/ETL testing- strong advantage
• Experience in building automated QA processes- advantage
• Hands-on experience working with databases- mandatory
• Proficiency in SQL including complex queries- mandatory
• Experience with DWH testing- advantage
• Working in a SCRUM team- advantage
• Experience with TFS/ADO for bug tracking and test management- advantage
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Qlik Sense or Power BI- advantage
• Academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Industrial Engineering- strong advantage
• Experience running processes in Informatica- strong advantage
