8400 and HealthIL work to support and strengthen the continued development of healthcare innovation in Israel.

As part of this goal, 8400 and HealthIL work with multiple stakeholders in healthcare innovation, both in Israel and globally, to identify challenges and hurdles to innovation and actively affect change to reduce these hurdles.

Startups represent a significant aspect the Israeli healthcare innovation ecosystem, and supporting startups is critical for driving continued innovation from Israel and attracting capital and strategic partners to the ecosystem.

We are looking for a unique talent with both business and technical acumen that can lead our continuous efforts to support startups and tech solutions including engagement with investing entities.

Job Description:

The purpose of this role is to continuously support Israeli healthcare startups and tech solution providers by assessing their needs, challenges, and unique value propositions and engaging them with opportunities, tools, processes, and methodologies to reduce hurdles and increase traction and growth.

This includes advancing structured processes for fostering collaborations and engagements between startups and various healthcare organizations in Israel and globally, creating effective partnerships between startups and multinational corporations, and assisting in building effective relationships with local and global investing entities.

In addition, this position will also include aspects such as:

· Working cross-functionally with team members on numerous initiatives pertaining to startups, including potential activities with regulatory bodies, governmental agencies, corporate and industry partners.

·  Direct point of contact with the Israeli startups and the broader startup community.

· Comprehensive and extensive mapping of startups and technologies in healthcare, including ownership, administration, and maintenance of the HealthIL database.

· Supporting challenge prioritization based on existing/potential technological supply

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in healthcare and healthcare innovation and a strong foundation of current technologies and trends in healthcare innovation – Mandatory

Native or Fluent English – Mandatory

Practical business experience in the healthcare field with emphasis on global markets – Significant Advantage

Significant understanding of the development processes of startups in the healthcare space - Significant advantage!
