We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper and payroll Accountant to join our finance team and assist in managing our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. Excellent organizational skills, and accuracy are important qualities for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, reliable, and committed to constantly meeting deadlines.

Start-Up Nation Central (SNC) is an independent nonprofit organization and the prime connector and facilitator of Israeli innovation that boosts business growth and generates impact. SNC has as subsidiary company specializing in Israeli culinary – Café Asif.

This is a part time position based out of our office in Tel Aviv (80% position), hybrid position.

In this position you will be part of the finance team, and subordinate to the controller.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions, including preparations of financial statements
• Bookkeeping on Priority up to trial balance
• Salaries for up to 30 different types of employees
• Payments and reconciliations
• Reports for tax authorities
• Engaging in other finance-related tasks and projects, as applicable

Qualifications:

• A minimum of two years’ experience in bookkeeping (Level 3) – a must
• Knowledge and two years’ experience with Priority – a must
• Experience as a payroll accountant for at least one year (Payroll Accountant certificate)
• Problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
• Customer service orientation
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Being a self-starter: a highly motivated individual that can keep up in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical skills with the highest standards of accuracy and precision
• A level of a at least basic English (organization internal communication)
• Strong Excel skills

רישום פעולות פיננסיות שוטפות, כולל הכנת דוחות כספיים

הנהלת חשבונות בתוכנת Priority עד למאזן

טיפול בשכר עבור כ-30 עובדים מסוגים שונים

הכנת דוחות תקציב חודשיים

ביצוע תשלומים והתאמות

הגשת דיווחים לרשויות המס

סיוע במשימות ופרויקטים נוספים בתחום הכספים, לפי הצורך

ניסיון של שנתיים לפחות בעבודה עם Priority – חובה
