Senior Software Engineer, Platform Infrastructure - Hexagate

Hexagate is building a highly performant product that uses a diverse technological stack ranging from real time blockchain scanners, data pipelines at scale, to detect and analyze malicious behaviors and malicious actors on the blockchain and proactively alert and protect funds in real-time.

We're seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. Youʼll design, build, and own the distributed systems that power our event-driven architecture—ensuring they are resilient, observable, and fast. Youʼll work closely with application teams to scale services, improve workflows, and help build a highly productive engineering environment. This is a highly technical, execution-focused role for someone who enjoys owning systems end-to-end and getting their hands dirty.

The position is office-based in Tel Aviv.

In This Role, You Will

• Design and implement infrastructure components that support our event-driven architecture
• Build and maintain tooling for CI/CD, deployments, and infrastructure automation
• Architect reliable, observable systems using technologies like Kubernetes, NATS JetStream, and Terraform
• Lead hands-on efforts to improve performance, stability, and scalability across environments
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize development workflows and production readiness
• Own infrastructure projects from design to rollout and support
  
  

We're Looking For Candidates Who Have

• 5+ years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering, including significant hands-on contributions
• Experience working with event-driven architectures and messaging systems like NATS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ
• Strong practical experience with cloud-native infrastructure, preferably AWS, and container orchestration via Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Python, Rust, or Go
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, Argo CD
• Solid experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or Helm
• Comfortable with debugging, monitoring, and tuning distributed systems in production environments
