SW Group Director - On site , Shfela Robotic systems

We are a cutting-edge, multidisciplinary company developing an innovative technology platform.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SW Group Director.

Responsibilities

SW Group Management:

• Manage the SW teams, building and leading the SW Group.
• Lead, grow, mentor, and manage the SW teams, ensuring high-quality development practices (define testing strategy, set target for automatic testing code coverage, set code quality metrics, implement security best practices).
• Collaborated with subcontractors where needed.
• Mentor for SW development procedures, good practice & documentation.
• Define and build the full SW development infrastructure from the ground up in a multidisciplinary environment combining software, hardware, and algorithms.
• Adopt Agile methodologies to improve delivery, foster collaboration, and continuously adapt to evolving product needs.
• Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and enforce best coding standards.
• Utilize DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
• SW Group budget planning & budget control.

Responsible for SW Group delivery:

• Design, develop and maintain the machine application and related utilities.
• Responsible for all aspects of software development - from technologies, scalability, and reliability, to processes.
• Responsible for the SW applications complete life cycle, architecture, design, implementation, testing, distribution, and maintenance.
• SW versions content planning from system, product and projects priorities perspective.
• Judge and correct SW requirements from holistic system & product aspects and future customer and user experience view.
• Hold the SW Gantt synchronized with the projects and product plans.
• Manage SW versions in coordination with process team, product management & project managers.

Outbound Stakeholder:

• Member of the R&D management team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including program managers, process engineers, R&D experts, support engineers and other groups to deliver robust software solutions.
• Serve as stakeholder in machine design and product steering.
• Represent the SW Group in all relevant forums.
• Engaged with customers.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science, Electronics, Applied Math, or related field.
• At least 20 years of proven experience in SW development related positions.
• At least 10 years of managing SW development related groups of multidisciplinary systems.

Required Skills

• SW Development Proficient:
• Proficient in Agile methodologies, Managed Scrum workflows.
• Experience in C++, C#, .NET, Angular, node.JS, MongoDB.
• Knowledge of UX/UI practices.
• Knowledge of HW control, robotics and PLC (Experience with Beckhoff controllers and Kuka robots are advantage).
• At least basic knowledge in computational geometry and image processing algorithms.
• Proficiency with Git, Microsoft Visual Studio, DevOps and CI/CD SW version control packages.
