Principal Full-Stack Engineer - Ask-y.ai

Ask-y.ai is developing an AI data-analytics platform with an advanced web application. We're seeking our leading Principal Full-Stack Engineer to join our early-stage startup.

As a hands-on technical leader reporting to the Head of Technology, you'll build our platform from the ground up while guiding the engineering team through an evolving environment. This role requires someone who can write production code with complex logic, design and make architectural decisions, and adapt to changing priorities.

• Develop a complex Enterprise data analysis studio web application with advanced UI interaction capabilities and server components to manage async logic and AI driven features. 
• Write and ship production code across the full stack using Angular, TypeScript, Python, and C#
• Architect the application logic, software and operations stack - own the solution
• Lead and mentor developers to drive effective delivery, while maintaining a high coding output, lead technical processes and discussions to drive effective technology decisions and execution
• Work as team, closely with Product, Design, and AI/ML teams in a fluid environment
• Implement cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines

• 8+ years of hands-on full-stack development with:
• Frontend: Angular, React, TypeScript
• Backend: Node.js/C#/Java, Python
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS/GCP/Azure, CI/CD
• Databases: SQL and NoSQL
• Deep understanding of building scalable, high-performance systems
• Track record of delivering high-impact, user-facing complex products
• Strong ability to translate user needs into well-scoped technical solutions
• Track record of leading engineers while actively coding
• Strong remote collaboration and English communication skills
• Startup experience or proven adaptability to fast-paced environments, ability to thrive in uncertainty and adapt to pivots
