C# / .NET Senior Software Developer

One of our clients, a dynamic travel-tech company, is looking to hire a C# / .NET Senior Software Developer to join their core R&D organization. The company is transforming the travel experience by simplifying the booking of ferries, buses, and trains worldwide. It operates 6 subsidiary B2C platforms, working with over 8,500 suppliers across 100 countries. The group has raised $81 million and has 570 employees globally.

The position is based in the development branch in Israel, with 55 employees. The company follows a hybrid work model, with employees working 2 days from home and 3 days from the office.

As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building the company’s new core business and technology infrastructure, working closely with experienced software engineers and architects. This role will involve all aspects of the system's development, with a direct impact on the success of the platform.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable and high-availability backend systems, APIs, web services, and event-driven architectures.
• Build and maintain systems that operate under high load and in production environments.
• Implement microservices architectures and ensure effective communication between services via REST, gRPC, and event-based messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Collaborate in designing and building cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Lead projects with strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in software development with a strong command of C# and .NET frameworks.
• Expertise in system architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• In-depth experience with databases and data stores (SQL, Mongo, Redis, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment.
• 3+ years of cloud infrastructure experience.
• Experience in high-scale, distributed systems in production environments.
