Technical Lead Manager, Google Notifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
• Experience in leadership role or in people management.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience with iOS or mobile development.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide on the technical aspects of development including requirements definition, design, implementation, and success metrics.
• Lead, manage, inspire, and grow a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Providing feedback, career development, own all manager responsibilities, and help influence a learning/growth based culture.
• Ensure the team delivers solutions, meeting performance and scalability.
• Oversee and drives iOS notification capabilities and improvements, enabling new use cases for Google apps and driving iOS engagement.
• Foster partnerships with key stakeholders within the organization.
