Subsidiaries controller & international tax manager - Temporary

About the department

We are looking for an exceptional Subsidiaries Controller to come and join our winning finance team. As a Subsidiaries Controller you will oversea the day to day accounting functions, integrating finance operations, handling tax matters, and ensuring organization financial stability. This position requires working and maintaining relationships with local and global teams, so we are looking for someone who is a people person. The right candidate is someone who has strong attention to detail and can pick out even the smallest mistakes and fix them.

Responsibilities

• Timely preparation and review of reporting packages and reports analysis
• Consolidated audit coordination with external and internal auditors
• Preparation of financial statements of individual subsidiaries and audit of Solo reports
• Designing, implementing, and monitoring internal controls + Coordination with external and internal auditors
• Designing, implementing, and monitoring new and existing financial systems and tools
• Tax Compliance- preparation and filing of the tax returns
• Tax planning - developing and implementing tax planning strategies
• Identify opportunities for tax savings
• Work with other departments to incorporate tax considerations into business decisions
• Work with external tax consultants and legal department

What we expect

• Big4 alumni
• CPA with at least 4-5 years of experience in hi-tech companies
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to details with superb organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Solid proficiency in Excel and finance software (SAPB1 advantage)
• Thorough knowledge of general accounting principles (IFRS and US GAAP).
• Excellent knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
• Advanced level of English, Russian language is advantage
• Open for a temporary position of 6 months
