As an Application Security & SDLC Specialist at CyberForce, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our software development processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in integrating security practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

In this role you will

• Integrate security measures at every stage of the SDLC, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance;
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and security teams to embed security requirements into software projects;
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement security controls to mitigate potential vulnerabilities;
• Develop and maintain documentation for security policies, procedures, and guidelines within the SDLC framework;
• Stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing compliance;
• Provide training and guidance to development teams on secure coding practices and SDLC security protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software development life cycle management with a focus on security integration.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and security frameworks such as NIST SSDF;
• Familiarity with secure coding standards and practices;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities;
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
