Postdoctoral Research Opportunity – Gene Editing and Molecular Biology

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled postdoctoral fellow to join our research team at Rambam Health Care Campus, focusing on gene editing technologies and molecular biology.

Project Scope

The research involves developing and optimizing gene editing strategies, with particular emphasis on CRISPR-based techniques, for therapeutic applications. The work includes designing editing constructs, analyzing outcomes, and working with cell culture models relevant to neurological and genetic disorders.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform gene editing using CRISPR/Cas systems
• Culture and manipulate mammalian cell lines
• Conduct molecular biology techniques including cloning, qPCR, Western blotting, and sequencing
• Analyze gene editing efficiency and off-target effects
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including clinicians and geneticists
