Linux System Admin JB-4209

The role includes:

• Planning, installing and supporting Linux servers (physical and virtual), some of which are located at the core of the stock exchange.
• Performing ongoing tasks in the system area, including installing and upgrading the operating system, application and products, improving server performance, configuring server connections to storage, implementing information security hardening, handling faults, writing scripts, etc.
• Installing and supporting physical Linux servers in a Cluster configuration. (Using Veritas Cluster).
• Planning, installing and supporting the OpenShift K8s platform, including implementing automation processes using ArcoCD.
• Installing and supporting the API Management Kong platform.
• Implementing automation processes, including writing Roles and Playbooks on the Ansible
• platform.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in a Linux system role (with an emphasis on the RedHat operating system) - required.
• Experience in setting up, maintaining and upgrading products on a Linux operating system, including Veritas products - required.
• Experience in writing automation processes in Ansible - required.
• Experience in maintaining the Kubernetes platform - required.
• Experience working with systems: Ansible Automation Platform, Satellite, Jfrog - an advantage.
• Experience working with distributed systems, including using components: storage, backup, R&D, communication - an advantage
• Good ability to work in a team and have a high level of service awareness.
• Ability to manage tasks independently with internal and external parties.
• Ability to perform parallel tasks while meeting goals according to priority.
• High level of service awareness.
• Willingness to work beyond operating hours (including performing shifts and standbys).
