We are looking for a Test Automation Team Leader for our Application Security WAF team. Ideal candidates have experience in customer-facing roles, on-prem devices, and performance automation testing. You will lead a team focused on enhancing platform quality through customer-centric scenario tests, especially large-scale performance and load testing.

Key Responsibilities :

• Be part of a highly motivated and skilled engineering group.
• Lead and manage a team of automation engineers.
• Own the overall quality of Performance, Networking and Customer facing testing of the product.
• Define, Design and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy for performance validation, features testing and customer environments simulation.
• Work closely with customers throughout the testing lifecycle, starting from early concept validation and assessments to hands-on testing of new features.
• Lead structured, end-to-end customer BETA testing processes for new features, ensuring alignment between product development and real-world customer needs.
• Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Define and track quality metrics, including test coverage, automation success-rates and automation ROI to drive visibility and improvement.
• Analyze customers incidents, proactively identify trends, root causes, and areas for proactive improvement.
• Manage and maintain hardware labs across (3) three global locations.
  
  

Requirements:

• 3+ years of QA Leadership experience, fostering collaboration, and driving results.
• Excellent leadership, documentation, and communication skills - ability to mentor junior engineers, drive QA best practices, and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Proficiency in automation & scripting (e.g., Python, Java).
• Demonstrated success in customer-centric testing environments (e.g., COST, support-led validation, escalations).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong technical knowledge of QA processes and debugging techniques.
• Expertise in networking, web protocols, security, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on expertise with performance testing tools (Avalanche, Ixia, K6, JMeter, Postman)- advantage.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and instill the best practices in automation and performance engineering – advantage.
• Customer facing experience – advantage.
