The Department of Physics at Ben-Gurion University is looking for a hands-on, curious, and tech-savvy Laboratory Engineer to join our team and support the operation and innovation of our teaching and research labs.

💡 What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain experiments for undergraduate and graduate labs
• Operate and troubleshoot lab equipment — both electronic and computerized
• Support students and faculty in conducting experiments and projects
• Purchase and maintain lab equipment and materials
• Utilize programming tools like Python, Matlab, and LabView for lab automation and data analysis

👤 Who you are:

• Hold a BSc in Physics or Electrical & Computer Engineering (MSc is a strong plus)
• Have experience working in academic or industrial labs with electronic equipment
• Comfortable using lab software, instrumentation tools, and scripting languages
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Have a passion for teaching, mentoring, and scientific exploration
• Experience in instruction/training – a bonus!
