Job Summary:

As a Video Systems Expert, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable, low-latency video streaming infrastructure to support real-time mission-critical applications. You’ll work closely with engineering, AI, and platform teams to architect and maintain systems capable of handling hundreds to thousands of simultaneous video streams across the tactical edge and the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Video Architecture & Infrastructure

• Design and deploy large-scale, distributed video streaming systems for high-density, high-uptime operational environments.
• Architect solutions that integrate video feeds from ISR platforms, PTZ cameras, drones, and autonomous systems.

🔹 Streaming Protocols & Encoding

• Implement and optimize video pipelines using RTSP, RTP, WebRTC, and MPEG-DASH.
• Tune performance for codecs like H.264/5, AV1, and emerging standards based on operational needs.

🔹 Media Processing & Delivery

• Leverage libraries like GStreamer and FFmpeg to process, transcode, and route video streams efficiently.
• Integrate with media servers and CDNs to ensure robust delivery across constrained or contested networks.

🔹 AI Integration & Inference

• Collaborate with AI teams to integrate video analytics using NVIDIA DeepStream, Triton Inference Server, and other GPU-accelerated toolkits.
• Support real-time inferencing at the edge with minimal latency and resource constraints.

🔹 System Optimization & Reliability

• Monitor and optimize streaming performance in live mission environments, including buffering, frame drops, and sync issues.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with large-scale video streaming architectures and real-time video systems
• Deep understanding of video protocols (RTSP, RTP, WebRTC, DASH) and encodings (H.264/5, AV1)
• Hands-on expertise with GStreamer, FFmpeg, and similar tools
• Familiarity with media server architectures and CDN integration
• Experience with AI video inference frameworks like DeepStream and Triton

• Prior work in defense, aerospace, or mission-critical systems.
