Senior AI/Backend engineer, Tech Lead

We're an early-stage startup building a platform that bridges AI with data warehouses, enabling users to ask business questions directly from their data. Our mission is to empower data-driven teams to unlock real business value and accelerate growth.

The platform provides an entity-based, 360-degree view of the business using a semantic data modeling engine powered by AI. It enables consumption of reliable, rich, entity-level metrics across BI tools, ML models, reverse ETLs, and business-specific apps.

Tech Stack

Backend:

• Python (FastAPI, pandas, langchain, datafusion, pyarrow)
• Rust
• Docker / Docker Compose
• PostgreSQL
• Neo4j

Frontend:

• React with TypeScript

Must-Have Qualifications

• Extensive experience developing and maintaining applications in Python
• Strong understanding of containerization and hands-on experience with Docker in both dev and production
• Proficiency in Git, including branching and merging strategies
• Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with relational database systems
• Experience working with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Helm for managing Kubernetes applications
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration in production environments
• Experience across multiple cloud providers
• Development experience with Rust
• Familiarity with AI agents and their real-world applications
• Knowledge of graph databases (especially Neo4j)
• Cloud/DevOps expertise
• Working with Big Data environments
