🌱 We're Hiring: Donor Relations Manager – Private Donors (Full-Time, Hybrid) 🌍

The New Guard (HaShomer HaChadash) is seeking a passionate, mission-driven professional to join our External Relations & Resource Development Department as Donor Relations Manager – Private Donors.

At our core, we are a Zionist-educational NGO working to protect Israel’s agricultural lands, support farmers, and reconnect young people and citizens with the land, Zionist values, and meaningful civic action. Our operations span nationwide educational programs and hands-on volunteer efforts that cultivate responsibility, mutual solidarity, and leadership from the ground up.

🔹 The Role

We’re looking for a strategic relationship builder to lead the cultivation and growth of our philanthropic support from private donors, in Israel and abroad. This position offers the opportunity to shape our fundraising efforts through personalized donor journeys that align with our values and mission.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Build and sustain long-term relationships with individual donors
• Identify and engage new potential supporters globally
• Lead the development and execution of an annual fundraising strategy
• Manage direct donor communications: meetings, calls, hosting, and tours
• Produce tailored donor deliverables: proposals, reports, thank-you letters
• Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Finance, Ops, Procurement) to deliver authentic and high-quality outputs
• Analyze trends and initiate innovative fundraising campaigns
• Represent the organization in philanthropic networks, conferences, and donor spaces

🔹 Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in fundraising or related fields
• Native-level fluency in Hebrew and English – written and spoken
• Excellent writing, editing, and audience-tailoring skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build deep, value-based connections
• High level of organization, multitasking, and performance under pressure
• Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce, Monday – required
• Excel proficiency – advantage
• Bachelor’s degree – required | Master’s – advantage

🔹 Job Details

• Full-time
• Reports to the Director of External Relations & Resource Development
• Hybrid work model: office, field, and remote, as needed
• Requires partial availability during non-standard hours (U.S. time zone)
