Backend Developer

We are looking for an experienced backend developer to join our cloud compute team.

Our backend developer is responsible for the design, development, testing and maintenance of our API-based and database-driven web applications that will drive our software engineering efforts and provide crucial control tools for our customers.

Now part of Flexera, Spot optimizes cloud infrastructure to always be highly available and for the lowest possible cost, we revolutionize the way businesses manage their cloud.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new product features and infrastructures including testing and debugging complicated problems and algorithms
• Writing design and architecture documents, research and finding the best technological solution in terms of scalability, high availability, redundancy
• Integrate with all sorts of parts of a system, such as MySQL, Elastic, Redis, AWS services etc.
• Strong Collaboration with DevOps, SRE and other development teams
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Strong fundamental software engineering skills (design patterns, algorithms, data structures)
• At least 3+ years of experience as a backend developer
• Object-oriented development experience
• Experience working in a cloud-native environment
• Experience working in a Linux environment
• Object-oriented development
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Java, Spring
• Experience working with AWS
• Experience with code infrastructure's development
• Ability to work independently and lead others if required
• Team player with strong social and communication skills
• Worked in an Agile development environment such as Scrum/Kanban
