CTO

you’ll be at the core of leading the development and architecture of advanced, distributed web systems. The focus is on modern JavaScript/TypeScript/React front-end stacks, EC2 Instnaces, and AWS-native serverless technologies. You’ll drive the architecture and hands-on development of highly scalable applications while collaborating with product leadership, data engineers, and senior management to align technical direction with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-stack development using JavaScript/TypeScript/React (And a bit of Python).
• Architect and implement cloud-native, serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, and Cloudflare Workers.
• Design robust data pipelines and ETL processes (e.g., Parquet → MySQL/ClickHouse via Athena).
• Manage integrations across Cloudflare KV, queues, RDS, MongoDB, and EC2.
• Define technical roadmaps, break down complex systems, and produce detailed architectural plans.
• Perform code reviews, mentor engineers, and establish development best practices.
• Optimize system performance, security, and scalability across cloud infrastructure.
• Own architectural decisions and help guide business/technology priorities.
  
  

• 5+ years of hands-on development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript (React) and Python.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and driving architecture for large-scale web systems.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services, especially serverless technologies (Lambda, Step Functions, S3, EventBridge).
• Strong understanding of ETL flows and data engineering — including data transformation and ingestion into SQL-based databases.
• Experience working with Cloudflare stack: Workers, KV, Queues.
• Familiarity with relational and document databases (e.g., RDS, MongoDB).
• Experience deploying scalable systems using EC2 and integrating event-driven architecture.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
