Quality Assurance Manager

One of our clients, a fast-growing global technology company in the data security space, is looking to hire a QA Manager to lead their quality assurance efforts across multiple engineering teams.

The QA Manager will lead a team of skilled QA engineers, setting the strategic direction for both manual and automated testing processes. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record managing QA at scale, particularly in high-growth, agile environments. The successful candidate will work closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to ensure testing is seamlessly integrated into the software development lifecycle, while constantly improving automation, efficiency, and product reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor QA engineers across multiple teams, building a culture of innovation, ownership, and high performance.
• Define and execute robust QA strategies that cover both manual and automated testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality into every stage of the development process.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Track and report on key quality metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Stay current with industry best practices and implement tools that enhance testing efficiency.
• Ensure QA processes meet stringent security and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

• 3+ years of experience managing QA teams in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
• In-depth knowledge of software testing practices, automation strategies, and CI/CD integration.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Proven ability to drive quality initiatives across large, cross-functional teams.
• A keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for high-quality software.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience in cybersecurity or large-scale data security products.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience working with containerized environments and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to performance and security testing techniques.
